After the success of two menswear capsule collections, cult favourite shopping site ASOS have collaborated with heritage sportswear label PUMA to create their first womenswear collection launching this week. Street influenced, and referencing 90s sportswear, the collection embraces urban graffiti motifs, animal and check prints, all capped off with bold Puma logos.

The eleven-piece collection maintains a modern aesthetic by mixing fabrications and innovative print techniques, and focuses on colour-blocking and print. The collection mismatches urban graffiti with animal and check prints, and is softened down with the use of a feminine lace application. Keeping to a colour palette of black, white and grey marle, the pieces are highlighted with  primary red pigments and metallic highlights while exaggerated sleeves, quilting and maxi silhouettes all play with proportion.

The PUMA logo is stamped across sweats, tube dresses and motorcross inspired joggers, using foil and high shine gloss print techniques, giving a high fashion edge to the pieces. The silhouettes lend themselves more to runways then gyms, and are easily injected into wardrobes to give a feeling of sports luxe to any outfit. The use of leather and poly fleece add further dimension to the collection.

If you want to get your hands on a piece (or more!), the collection is exclusively available at ASOS and is on sale this week.
