For those heading to the Jeep Portsea Polo this weekend keep your eyes peeled at the Peroni Nastro Azzurro marquee for a line up of stars expected for the day. As a major partner of the Portsea Polo, Peroni will be hosting 400 VIPs, media and special guests in a custom built marquee inspired by the idyllic Italian notion of ‘Vita al Mare’ (life by the sea).
In true Italian style, guests will enjoy a roaming selection of Italian dishes including antipasti, pasta, fresh seafood, pizza, pannacotta and gelato. To be served for the first time in Australia, guests will also be able to sample a ‘Peroni Infusion’ cocktail – a combination of Italy’s leading beer with a mixture of classic cocktail flavours. Renowned mixologist, James Burchett of Melbourne’s The Ugly Duckling cocktail bar, will be on hand to bring Peroni Infusions to life, creating two mouth-watering cocktails – the Peroni Spritz and Honey Peroni.
Special guests expected in the Peroni marquee include actors Isabelle Cornish, Luke Hemsworth, Xavier Samuel, Michael Dorman, Tim Ross, Ben Mingay and Anna McGahan, as well as style influencers Lindy Klim and Montana Cox. The feature Polo match between the Peroni and Jeep teams is scheduled at 3:00pm and will be the highlight of the day’s competition. Elevated above the playing field, the Peroni marquee is the perfect place to take in this world class day of Polo.
