During Melbourne Spring Fashion Week, one of the things I was most looking forward to was the Mimco Spring/Summer runway and then the after party and celebrations of their 15th birthday!  For now we will venture into the world of the runway and take a look at the latest offering from Mimco.

Held as a free show at Melbourne City Square, it meant that anyone could come and and have a look at the boldest and brightest new bags from Mimco. Before the show, in my minds eye, I saw Mimco using the same beiges and blacks and soft leathers, but no-no-no! Shiny patent leather bag in a beautiful firetruck red (standout) and daffodil yellows teamed with the occasional coral. It was new and very exciting. In a fashion world where colour blocking is dominating, Mimco certainly delivers, but where this stands out is in a unique benefit that only accessories provide.  If you’re too shy too wear a colour blocked outfit head to toe, grab a coral tote and suddenly you have that pop of colour OR if you want to take your outfit to the next level, only accessories will push you over the edge. Enjoy the photo’s of my favorite hero pieces.
