Couturing have teamed up with up-and-coming label Cathleen Jia to shoot a new year’s eve theme editorial. Modelled by beautiful blogger Michelle from Michelle’s Style File, shot by photographer Kelly McMahon, assisted by Jessica King, Couturing styled Cathleen Jia’s glamorous 1920’s and 1940’s inspired pieces on a backdrop of colourful streamers, graffitied walls and a beautiful rooftop with city views.

Cathleen Jia’s stunning, feminine pieces are all hand made by Melbourne designer Cathleen Tan. Cathleen has put a modern twist on old Hollywood vintage silhouettes to make elegant silk cocktail and evening dresses perfect for ringing in the new year.

Michelle was the perfect model to capture the energy of this new year’s eve shoot. With her fantastic sense of style and fun, Michelle brought to life the stunning pieces.
