A memory that shines with the scorching glare of happiness, recalls echoes of laughter and fondly preserves the best days of summer like they were yesterday. Designer Nicky Zimmermann accesses this moment of nostalgic perfection for Resort 2015, presenting The Light Riot; a collection that speaks to the relaxed luxury of idyllic holidays.

Buoyant silhouettes sit off the body, creating a carefree sense of movement while considered cropped lengths and restrained tube shapes instil poise and sophistication. Custom trim inserts and string straps break up the body with suspended panels, at once delicate and precise.

Batik prints paired back with fresh bursts of white anchor the season, stirring island memories of natural elegance. Spliced styles and sheer layers play on the negative space of geometric cut-outs and concentrate pattern on pattern alongside colour blocks of bronze, burgundy and navy.

Formal fabrications meet youthful details in silk-satin organza, crinkle chiffon and pleated cotton voile. Bespoke embroidered drill expertly balances texture and wearability.

Key swimwear shapes bring the heat taking necklines off the shoulder and infusing lingerie touches with panelled mesh and underwires. Clean lines and criss-cross halters are quietly sexy while embroidered lyrca and hip flounces reveal a cheeky playfulness.

A vision of summers past, The Light Riot proves the best days are yet to come.
