Kérastase Paris exceeds the limits of hair science with the launch of its Resistance Extentioniste collection. An all-new hair training
program, Resistance Extentioniste is specifically formulated to reinforce the health of long and growing hair, designed to help women
reach their hair length goals, by stimulating the scalp, targeting the hair fibre, detangling the lengths and repairing the fibre structure to provide strength from root to tip.
Reflecting Kérastase’s global brand promise of ‘Very Personal Care for Exceptional Hair’ and drawing inspiration from the source of
strength channelled by top-performing athletes, Resistance Extentioniste delivers a three-month personalised scalp and length training program designed to grow the hair by up to four centimetres after 90 days.
Responding to damage being one of the top hair concerns amongst women globally and acknowledging that signs of poor hair conditioning become greater as the hair grows, Extentioniste works to develop the fibre’s core strength, increase elasticity and transform damage caused by urban stresses, and reduce breakage and split ends.

Like all Kérastase collections, Resistance Extentioniste is first prescribed to clients in a salon environment. The 90-day training program commences with an in-salon protocol incorporating a 15-minute fibre reset, a scalp activation massage and the prescription of a personalised haircare routine formulated to achieve the client’s hair length goals. Supporting the protocol, is a 12-week at-home workout, designed to strengthen, repair and coach the hair to grow to its optimal length. The client is encouraged to receive the in-
salon protocol an additional two times (once per month) throughout the 12-week at-home workout to achieve the best growth results.
An in-salon progress report is the final stage of the regime, evaluating the hair’s readiness for a cut and style or identifying its need for
further training. Continuing its reputation as an innovator in hair technology, Kérastase has collaborated with L’Oréal Advanced Research to develop Creatine R: a powerful fusion of Creatine and Ceramides that delves deep into the hair fibre to reinforce its internal structure, adding strength and flexibility, while providing a smooth and soft surface recovery. In addition to Creatine R and to deliver a targeted response, the Kérastase BAIN EXTENTIONISTE ($40.00) is also enriched with Taurine to stimulate the scalp and ensure visibly healthy hair; the Kérastase FONDANT EXTENTIONISTE ($46.00) and Kérastase MASQUE EXTENTIONISTE ($60.00) are intensified with Maelic Acid to penetrate the fibre for reinforcement action and to seal the cuticles with a uniform coating and; the SERUM EXTENTIONISTE ($75.00) comprises additional Ceramides to solidify a stronger fibre from root to tip.
