The Aussie beer-fest kicks off on May 16 with a whole week of celebrations during Good Beer Week. If you love beer then this week represents all your beer dreams in one.
Beer Deluxe at Federation Square is the official Good Beer Week Hub serving up some of the best and unique beer offerings of local,
international and craft beers, arguably one of the best places with the widest selections. There will be a variety of different events on over the course of Good Beer Week across Melbourne so we’ve rounded up some of the fun things to do over the week.

Grandads Supper returns to Good Beer Week a little older yet no wiser. Big, bold, beautiful beers will be the subject once again with brews from Mornington Peninsula, Brooklyn, Rodenbach and 8Wired brewing. A 4 x course degustation with the brewers for some exceptional beers (expect cask ales, sours and the like) and some top notch food to match.

BIIRU WO KUDASAI: The History of Japanese Beer at Sake Restaurant & Bar
Sunday 24th May between 1pm to 3pm. Ticketed event.
Learn more about Japanese beer and the intriguing and colourful history of the Japanese beer scene. Join Sake Bar Manager John Ross-Jones and representatives from Palais Imports as they share their vast knowledge of the Japanese craft beer scene, which hails back to the early 17th century. Learn how the market has evolved over the generations to become what it is today: an industry led by award-winning microbreweries. Sample a range of handpicked boutique beers from Hitachino, Yo-Ho, COEDO, Asahi and Sapporo, all expertly matched to contemporary Japanese bites.
The Humble Tinnie at Beer Deluxe Hawthorn

The Humble Tinnie dinner features four courses, with the food items perfectly matched with humble tinnies. Celebrating the growing movement of craft beer, served in a can.
