This year the popular Cloudy Bay Sauvignon Blanc celebrates its 30th anniversary and it launched its 2015 vintage with a special first season lunch at Melbourne’s Botanical.

The lunch showcased several food stations that showcased the different types of aromas and ingredients that have influenced the Sauvignon Blanc. From bright citrus fruits, to kaffir lime leaves to lemongrass, the lunch was a fantastic way to celebrate the new Cloudy Bay Sauvignon Blanc 2015 vintage.

The new vintage has a bright aroma with a focus on citrus aromatics grapefruit and kaffir lime whilst the palate reveals ripe, juicy stone fruit and lemongrass, supported by a subtle minerality. It’s a fresh and crisp wine that works well with spicy Asian cuisine, particularly with lemongrass, fresh seafood and is a natural match for most Mediterranean cuisine and fresh salads.
