Shoe lovers rejoice. Christian Louboutin has arrived in Melbourne with the launch of its new flagship Boutique at the “Paris End” of Collins Street.

Taking inspiration from the historic beauty of its new home, the store, designed by New York-based architecture firm 212 Box, is a luxurious homage to the designers famed red soled designs.

Like Louboutin’s designs, the colours and interior are bold, confident and strong, much like Louboutin’s clientele. Walls are covered with delicately pleated brass mesh walls and shoes are beautifully displayed on Tiikeri wood panels with truss shelving and suede shelves backed with bespoke, hand-painted wallpaper emblazoned with birds of paradise. Shoppers will have access to the latest women’s and men’s collections as well as classic Louboutin styles.
