CeraVe, the cult, dermatologist-developed skincare brand, has introduced its newest cleansing innovation to the Australian market – Hydrating Cream-to-Foam Cleanser – a gentle, hydrating and highly efficacious cleansing solution to remove dirt, oil and makeup, without stripping essential moisture from the skin barrier.

Formulated with three essential, skin-identical Ceramides, the new Hydrating Cream-to-Foam Cleanser also contains moisture-binding Hyaluronic Acid and Amino Acids. Foaming cleansers are not always suitable for dry skin, as they can often strip the skin of essential moisture, leaving it feeling tight and dry. CeraVe’s innovative new formula delivers a soft, transformative cream that lathers into a delicate foam, as it’s massaged onto wet skin. Ideal for removing facial makeup, the gentle foam cleanses skin without disrupting the skin’s natural barrier, and rinses off quickly to leave skin feeling
clean, fresh and hydrated.

The new Hydrating Cream-to-Foam Cleanser is the first in the CeraVe range to include Amino Acids – beneficial building blocks that are present in the skin’s layer, and vital to supporting its Natural Moisturising Factors (NMF). The Amino Acid-based surfactant allows the elegant cream to transform into a delicate foam, that gently yet effectively removes dirt, oil and makeup (including eye makeup). The Hydrating Cream-to-Foam Cleanser is suitable for all skin types, including dry and sensitive skin, and contact lens wearers. Now, those with dry skin can enjoy the benefits of both a hydrating cream cleanser, and a refreshing foaming formula, without having to choose between the two.

Research demonstrates that 44% of Australian women require multiple products to remove makeup, and only 60% cleanse their face in the AM, compared to 80% in the PM1. CeraVe’s new Hydrating Cream-to-Foam Cleanser offers a simple and effective, one-step cleansing solution that leaves skin feeling clean, fresh and hydrated.

In line with the existing CeraVe range, the Hydrating Cream-to-Foam Cleanser does not contain fragrances, soap or parabens and is pH balanced, non-comedogenic, and is allergy and ophthalmologist tested. Like all CeraVe products, it showcases patented MVE Delivery Technology to provide 24-hour hydration. Post-cleansing, it should be followed with an AM or PM facial moisturiser to provide additional hydration, protection, and barrier support.
The new cleanser joins CeraVe’s existing cleanser range, including the Hydrating Cleanser, Foaming Cleanser, and SA Renewing Cleanser, offering solutions for a range of skin types and conditions. The entire CeraVe range is available nationwide on the shelves and online at Chemist Warehouse.

CeraVe recently held a #SkinChat panel with CeraVe’s Brooke Boney and Lauren Phillips where the panel discussed the scientific and dermatological insights into achieving hydrated, healthy-looking skin and officially launching the new Hydating Cream-to-Foam cleansers.
