Beauty Expo Australia 2015 2
Last weekend saw large crowds flock to this year’s Beauty Expo held at the Sydney Exhibition Centre, Glebe Island. More than 7,000 visitors including beauty professionals from all fields came together from across the country to enjoy a range of products, treatments, the latest trends and techniques from both industry heavy-weights and upcoming brands.
“The first-class line up of exhibitors, demonstrations and education sessions ensured attendees left feeling more knowledgeable and better equipped to service their customers and build their businesses,” said Julia Erben, Event Director.

Makeup lovers enjoyed the showcase of products by Inglot, Makeup Forever and Crown Brushes, to name a few. Also on offer were nail, lash/brow and tanning exhibits and the opportunity to learn the science behind the very latest advancements in skincare and the growing wellness market. Celebrity guest appearances included Gina Liano and Sophie Monk.

“Beauty Expo provides a unique launch pad for new products, brands and treatments, whilst also offering a platform for established favourites to unveil their latest innovations. This year’s event was no exception and we are confident we achieved our objective of helping beauty professionals feel better educated, motivated and inspired to be a part of this incredibly innovative and exciting industry,” continued Erben.

Highlights of the two-day event included featured presentations and live demonstrations from leading industry experts such as Michael Brown, Rae Morris and Elaine Watson. Education Sessions were also popular, with intimate talks and demonstrations from leading spa and beauty experts such as Sharon-Lee to help salon professionals increase profitability and maximise existing resources.

The sold out Paramedical Conference, held in collaboration with industry leading partners The Laser Lounge and The Australasian Academy of Cosmetic Dermal Science (AACDS), and sponsored by Dermapen by Equipmed, attracted future-oriented salon managers set to transition their beauty salon into a medi-clinic.
