On Valentine’s Day this year, the seductive intimates label, Agent Provocateur celebrated the launch of their first Melbourne boutique.  Hot on the heels of the Sydney boutique launch, the lunchtime event was dress to impress, or rather, undress.

Scantily clad models showed-off the elegant lace, delicate straps and cheeky garters from the current collection, whilst passer-byers craned their neck for a better look. Guests sipped on champagne and delightfully refreshing passionfruit drinks, nibbling on caramel chocolates as they admired the red and black boutique.

The collection itself is cheeky, seductive and raunchily tasteful. Lace and strappy garter belts, dominatrix-style intimates are balanced out with feminine robes and scarlet red tones; the looks are good enough to kill.

Featuring American model, Crystal Renn, the campaign was inspired by classic American road movies and shows Renn at a gas pump next to a convertible, entitled On The Road. Celebrating the ‘whirlwind of adventure and nostalgia’ in the most cliched, appropriate way possible, it is a campaign that only Agent Provocateur could pull off.

Partnering with David Jones, the department store hosts the label in Australia for the very first time. The boutique reminisces a boudoir interior, being a perfect fit to display such a collection. With pink, red and black hues and an extra tall Crystal Renn pumping gas framing the wall, the store boasts a striking appearance that parallels the atmosphere of the collection and label.

An exciting new addition to the vibrant Melbourne city that will no doubt, only do us all good!
