Prada Beauty has turned to one of the fashion house’s most recognisable hues for its latest launch, the Wisteria Makeup Collection. Drawing on Prada’s fashion archives and their long love of unexpected tones and colour clashes, the range reinterprets purple across a lilac tinted lip balm, two limited edition blushes and a new eye pencil shade.
Leading the collection is the Prada Balm in Wisteria Gleams ($80, refill $70), a pastel lilac bullet with cool wisteria shimmer. Its Micro Blushing Technology adapts to the pH of your lips to create a personalised rosy tint, while Bifidus extract and jojoba oil deliver up to 24 hours of hydration. Housed in a refillable case, it also helps reduce packaging waste, with the brand reporting a refill saves 76 per cent in packaging weight compared to buying a new lipstick.
Prada Touch, the brand’s cream to powder blush ($85), arrives in two limited edition shades: Wisteria, a pale lilac, and Violet, a deep plum. Both blend like a cream before setting to a soft matte finish that lasts up to 12 hours, with raspberry extract to leave skin feeling moisturised. The shades come in a special edition pastel lilac version of the pocket sized, stackable Prada triangle compact.
Rounding out the collection is the Pradalines Durable Gliding Eye Pencil in Glycine ($55), a soft lilac shade that offers an easy way to wear purple around the eyes without feeling overdone.
The Prada Beauty Wisteria Makeup Collection is available now at Myer, David Jones, Adore Beauty and Sephora.
