Ovolo Melbourne is adding a new string to its entertainment bow, launching a Comedy Club with comedy heavyweight Tommy Little taking to the stage on Thursday 27 August at 8pm. He’ll be joined by fellow comedians Harley Breen and Tor Snyder, plus a lineup of special guests, for what promises to be a big night of laughs in the heart of South Yarra.

The inaugural show marks a fresh addition to the boutique hotel’s creative calendar, with Ovolo Managing Director Australia Nicole Downs saying the venue’s retro seventies glamour and disco flair make the perfect setting for a night of cocktails and comedy. It’s a bold way to kick things off, with the hotel bringing in one of the country’s most recognised comedy names to launch the series in style.

Guests keen to make a full night of it can opt for overnight stays bundled with two tickets to the show, with packages starting from $256 a night. Those simply popping in for the entertainment can head to Bar Yarra, where margherita pizzas and chicken schnitzels are on offer alongside a house wine, beer or soft drink for just $25. The hotel’s Apero Happy Hour will also run from 5pm to 7pm, while Backroom Bar stays open with a full beverage menu and grab and go snacks for anyone after a low key nightcap.

Doors open at 8pm on Thursday 27 August for the debut Ovolo Comedy Club, with tickets and accommodation packages available to book online now here
