If you’ve ever come across Vichy Laboratoires while travelling through a French pharmacy and wondered why it wasn’t sold back home, the wait is over. The brand is officially launching in Australia this April 2026, and it’s brought one of its most talked-about ranges with it.

Vichy has been around for 95 years, built on the mineral-rich thermal water sourced from the volcanic region it’s named after. It’s the kind of brand that dermatologists actually recommend — more than 80,000 of them globally, which is a number that tends to cut through the noise in a crowded skincare market.

The centrepiece of the Australian launch is the Liftactiv Collagen Specialist 16 range, an anti-ageing line that’s been in development for over 25 years. The focus is collagen — specifically, what happens when production slows down with age and how to address the visible effects. The range uses something called Co-Bonding Technology to target 16 signs of ageing, from fine lines and loss of firmness to dullness and uneven texture, with niacinamide doing a lot of the heavy lifting on the barrier and tone front.

It comes as a four-piece set — serum, day cream, night cream, and eye cream — designed to work as a full routine rather than standalone products. Sydney-based dermatologist Dr. Leona Yip has noted that consistent use of targeted ingredients is one of the more reliable ways to support skin structure over time, which aligns with what the range is trying to do.

Beyond the hero lineup, Vichy is also bringing hyaluronic acid, vitamin C, and B3 treatments to the Australian market, plus sensitive-skin-friendly antiperspirants with 72-hour protection. The full range is available exclusively at Chemist Warehouse here.
