While awards season in the Northern hemisphere might be hibernating right now, Australia’s TV night of nights gave us a much needed dose of red carpet glam, with our favourite style stars showcasing the best of Australian fashion at Crown. From deep burgundy, to red, blush tones and glittering gold, here are our top ten favourite looks.

 

10. SOPHIE MONK IN GALANNI

Newly minted Bachelorette, Sophie Monk kept it simple with relaxed hair and a strapless column gown by Galanni, leaving the statement to the bright red colour and sheer cut outs. The silhouette was refreshing against some of the more formal gowns, and the chic tousled lob kept it young and fun.

9. JESSICA ROWE IN ROMANCE WAS BORN

Romance Was Born are having a moment right now, and their quirky-meets-classic aesthetic lends itself perfectly for an event where you want to stand out. Studio¬†1o‘s Jessica Rowe opted for a Spanish by way of Sydney gown for the red carpet, and by keeping the accessories to a minimum, allowed the dress to do all of the talking.

 

8. DELTA GOODREM IN STEVEN KHALIL

Delta Goodrem is reliably great on the Logies red carpet, and this year was no different. Her sleek, crimson Steven Khalil gown was simple elegance done right, and the layered accessories kept to her boho aesthetic without distracting from the chic silhouette.

 

7. GEORGIA LOVE IN CAPPELLAZZO COUTURE

For her turn on the red carpet, former Bachelorette Georgia Love went structural in a crisp white Cappellazzo Couture off the shoulder gown. We loved the juxtaposition between the angelic white gown against the tough Alexander McQueen clutch and the burgundy lip gave the look a little tough girl edge.

 

6. KATE JENKINSON IN JASON GRECH

Wentworth star, Kate Jenkinson swapped her prison digs for a glam Jason Grech gown on the red carpet, complete with voluminous sleeves and plunging neckline. We loved the ox blood hue of the gown, and the simple hair and make up.

 

5. ANNA HEINRICH IN STEVEN KHALIL

Looking every part the golden girl, Anna Heinrich shimmered in a golden Steven Khalil embellished column gown. The gold against her skin tone played against each other perfectly, and her beauty waves gave everyone a little touch of hair envy.

 

4. SCHERRI-LEE BIGGS IN MISHA COLLECTION

Also opting for a gilded gown was Scherri-Lee Biggs in custom Misha Collection. The 20s vibes from the dress worked with the playful hair and make up, taking the look from old Hollywood to 21st century babe.

 

3. JESSICA MARAIS IN J’ATON COUTURE

Winner on the night, and in the style stakes,¬†The Wrong Girl‘s Jessica Marais shone in a stunning embellished J’Aton Couture gown. We loved the delicate fabrication of the gown, and the bell sleeves added extra drama to the look.

 

2. REBECCA HARDING IN CAPPELLAZZO COUTURE

Cappellazzo Couture makes another appearance on our list, with Rebecca Harding opting for a feminine, floaty blush toned gown. We loved the understated colour, and the voluminous sleeve detail elevated a simple gown to a standout.

 

1. CARRIE BICKMORE IN PAOLO SEBASTIAN

Taking top spot once again, Carrie Bickmore continued her love affair with Adelaide designer, Paolo Sebastian, this year in a stunning deep red gown. The simplicity of the bodice against the full train on the skirt showed the best of both worlds, and the statement jewellery was a perfect touch to an already amazing look.
