Beauty giant, Sephora, hits our shores in less than 2 months and in anticipation to the launch, Sephora gave us a sneak peak of the brands and products that are soon to grace shelves in their flagship store in Sydney’s Pitt Street Mall with a brand launch at Carriageworks.

Cult brands that we haven’t seen before will be available here at Sephora including Marc Jacobs Beauty, Tarte Cosmetics, Makeup Forever, Kat Von D, BITE  and Sephora’s very own range of makeup and skincare. Sephora will also carry some well known Aussie brands including BECCA Cosmetics, Aurora Spa and Leif.

The founder of Leif was on hand at the Sephora brand reveal and talked about the unique container they developed first before making any of the product. The brand’s range has great aromatherapeutic characters, with no parabens of sulfates, emphasising the natural Australian ingredients in the formulations. Lookout for their Kakadu plum & macadamia nut hand balm.

Sephora’s own range has a fantastic following, offering a wide range of colourful makeup products and great skincare. Anyone who has travelled overseas and spent time in Sephora, knows the fantastic variety and quality of products in the range.

Other unique brands include Estelle & Thild, a Swedish brand developed by a mother who wanted skincare products safe for herself and baby. The lip tint and tinted moisturisers are their latest offerings outside their skincare range and will be available at Sephora.

Marc Jacobs Beauty is another welcome brand to our shores. We loved the Twinkel Pop in “Au Revoir” a perfect eye colour that easily glides onto lids. We tried the shadows out and they were smooth and pigments to give great colour. Can’t wait to test out the rest of the range in store.

At the preview, visitors were enjoying getting their nails done by the Formula X team, spa pampering by Aurora Spa, makeup consultations by IT Cosmetics and there were plenty of photo opportunities with men representing men’s skincare range lqd. The excitement from the various brands here in Australia to talk about their brands was contagious and we can’t wait to experience for ourselves when Sephora opens its doors in early December.
