Cult favourite label Limedrop has had several successful pop up shops in both Melbourne and Sydney and now, in their words, “is putting a ring on the lovely permanent flagship store” in the incredibly stylish Finders Lane. Officially launching last week, the store holds all of their must have pieces (including their signature funglasses) in a permanent, immaculately designed space. Minimalist in its design, the space feels much bigger than it is thanks to design gurus, Moth Designs.

The store holds all of the pieces we’ve come to love – digital prints, matching separates and unique jewellery, and is perfectly showcased in custom wooden and iron showcases. To celebrate the launch, we were invited to preview the store and toast to their first permanent presence in the Melbourne CBD, complete with an adorable cake!

If you haven’t already heard of Limedrop, it’s the brainchild of designer Clea Garrick, who launched Limedrop in 2006. The label is based on the concept of travel, and captures the essence of freedom, discovery, independence and modernity of Australian fashion. The current collection is based on strong silhouettes, juxtaposing pastels with bold prints, and created with amazingly high quality fabrication.

If you want to see the amazing space for yourself, or want to update your wardrobe with some unique new pieces, you’ll find Limedrop’s flagship store in Finders Lane (next to Alice Euphemia in the Nicholas Building). It’s open 11-6pm Monday to Saturday, and 1-5pm Sundays, and if you can’t make it in, you can of course shop online at www.limedrop.com.au.
