GUCCI REOPENS IN MELBOURNE

Gucci will be opening the doors of its newly refurbished Melbourne boutique tomorrow. Featuring both a women’s and men’s boutique in an interior designed by Gucci Creative Director Frida Giannini, the space is nestled among the highend stores at the Paris end of Melbourne’s prestigious Collins Street. Speaking about the interior concept, Giannini said “I wanted to amplify the luxuriousness of the Gucci store environment and to create an aesthetic, which is complementary to the vision of the House today.”

Gucci-Cruise-2015-Campaign-05To celebrate the re-opening of the store, on the 15th and 16th of October, Gucci will bring the house’s Italian jewellery-making expertiseto Melbourne with the Jewellery Artisan Corner. This will give Gucci clients the change to witness first hand the skilled artisanship required to produce every item in Gucci’s fine jewellery collection. The talented Artisans will showcase traditional goldsmithing and gemsetting processes as well as exhibit their expertise in polishing and finishing jewels.

Gucci-Cruise-2015-Campaign-07In addition to the Jewellery Artisan Corner, Gucci have designed a rose gold cocktail ring, set with white diamonds in Gucci’s iconic Horsebit shape. This ring has been designed exclusively for Australia. Clients who purchase this exclusive piece will have the opportunity to see it finished firsthand by the Artisans, who will set the diamonds which cover the ring.
