Jean Paul Gaultier fever gripped Melbourne last week with the launch of his eagerly awaited exhibition at the National Gallery of Victoria.

On hand to celebrate with the iconic designer were two of his Australian muses, models Alexandra Agoston and Andrea Pejic. Mecca Cosmetica as official sponsors of the exhibition provided the makeup looks for both models for the daytime media event and red-carpet night event.

To help you achieve your own muse-worthy look at home, we’ve teamed up with Mecca to reveal the the products use to achieve the radiant daytime makeup created for Alexandra and Andrea.

A base was created for both models using an Ellis Faas Skin Veil Foundation through the centre, blended with a NARS Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturiser to create natural, glowing skin. NARS Blush in Doceur was used to emphasise their killer cheek bones and NARS Brow Gel in Oural was used to make their eyebrows look naturally defined.

meccaTo achieve Andreja’s daytime smokey eye, NARS Alhambra Eyeshadow Duo was blended, giving her a crease resistant and metallic finish. NARS Multiple in Luxor was use to highlight and give warmth to her cheeks. NARS Velvet Matte Lip Pencil in Sex Machine was applied to finish off the look with a soft pink lip.

To create Alexandra’s natural look, Chantecaille Liquid Lumiere in Brilliance was applied to her cheeks. To create a light smokey eye, NARS Eyeshadow in Nepal was blended on and above her lid. To emphasis her long lashes but not make appear too dramatic, By Terry Terrybly Mascara was used in Moka Brown. NARS Lipgloss in Triple X, a clear gloss, was used to finish off the look and let Alexandra’s natural lip colour shine through.
