Chris Hemsworth has been named this year’s sexist man alive. Fresh from a trip down under for the races, Hemsworth has taken out the title ahead of favourite Chris Pratt. Taking the crown from last year’s winner Adam Levine, the announcement was made on late night show Jimmy Kimmel Live where Hemsworth was awarded a golden mirror.

“I’m most excited about the alive portion of that statement and the sexy part is a bonus” he said after he won. When asked what brother Liam thought of the win, Hemsworth said “Liam has been good, he’s been a real team player for this one. We’ve been throwing sexy looks back and forth.”

I can just say to her, now remember, this is what the people think, so I don’t need to do the dishes anymore, I don’t need to change nappies. I’m above that. I’ve made it now.”

Hemsworth has come a long way since his Home & Away days, starting in hit films such as Rush, Star Trek and as Norse god Thor in the Avengers.

To celebrate Hemsworth’s win, we take a look back at some of his top red carpet moments.
